At Skinsation we are qualified MD facialists with HydraFacial, meaning we do the advanced Hydrafacial Md peels, back and scalp treatments as well. Hydrafacial is a specialist treatment fully customisable for different skin types and needs. It promotes long-term healthy skin, offers instant results, and doesn’t require downtime after the treatment.
HydraFacial is a 6 step medical grade treatment that detoxifies the skin, removes dead skin cells, extracts any debris and provides long-lasting hydration and essential nutrient support that protects and rebuilds collagen levels.
HydraFacial begins with Lymphatic Drainage to eliminate toxins and improve circulation, followed by a deep cleanse with active ingredients to exfoliate the skin and remove any superficial dead skin. A peel of glycolic and salicylic is picked. We have three different grades including the Hydrafacial MD peel. This is applied to the skin, helping to soften anything in the pores and exfoliate the top layer of skin cells.
Followed by extractions, using their patented Vortex-Fusion system to extract any congestion and blackheads from the pores using its spiral design that delivers painless extractions. The next step is the Antioxidant stage, where we flood the skin with antioxidants, vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic. This is what gives the skin that really healthy, hydrated glowing skin. At Skinsation we use the MD Dermalux with all our hydrafacials as they are a stronger L.E.D light and we are all about results, so we finish with a twenty minutes session of Dermalux to supercharge your skin cells, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin reduce inflammation and killing bacteria. You will see they glow instantly and we will show you all the gunk that came from your pores!
How often can I have a HydraFacial?
You can have a HydraFacial every 4-6 weeks, if you are looking to treat a more specific concern, you can have them every two weeks.We recommend to combine hydrafacial with other treatments depending on your skin concern to maximize your results.
Who is not suitable for this treatment?
- If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- Allergy to aspirin (salicylic acid present)
- Allergy to shellfish (one product contains glucosamine)
- Active cancer
- Certain medications (our therapists can advise on this)
- Active skin infection (cold sores)
- Active skin inflammation (eg papulopustular rosacea, severe active acne)
- Roaccutane treatment within the last 6 months
